Social pathology of far right youth organizations in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Práce "Sociální patologie krajně pravicových mládežnických organizací v ČR" se zabývá politickým fenoménem krajní pravice a jeho působením na současnou mládež v kontextu sociální patologie a sociální pedagogiky. Práce se pokouší nastínit přínos politologie sociální pedagogice při využití politologických pojmů. V práci je využito poznatků z kvalitativního šetření a z výzkumu extremistické kriminality Ministerstva vnitra ČR a Institutu pro kriminologii a sociální prevenci Sociální pedagogika je chápána jako obor s potenciálem preventivně i terapeuticky působit na mladé lidi ovlivněné krajně pravicovým extremismem při využívání vzdělávání v oblasti politických věd.

Abstract:

The work "Social Pathology of Right-wing Youth Organizations in the Czech Republic" deals with the political phenomenon of the extreme right and its impact on contemporary youth in the context of social pathology and social pedagogy. The thesis attempts to outline the contribution of social pedagogy in the use of political concepts. The work explores the findings from the qualitative survey and from the research of extremist criminality from the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic and the Institute for Criminology and Social Prevention. Social pedagogy is understood as a field with the potential to prevent and therapeutically influence young people, who are affected by far right extremism in the use of political sciences in education.
