Abstract:

Vysokofrekvenční audiometrie slouží k vyšetření prahu sluchu v intervalu frekvencí od 8 000 do 20 000 Hz. V běžné praxi se této subjektivní vyšetřovací metody nevyužívá ke stanovení sluchové vady, jako je tomu u běžné tónové audiometrie, ale je využívaná převážně v případech, kdy je potřebná včasná detekce sluchové vady. Pro frekvenční oblast 8 000 - 20 000 Hz zatím nejsou stanoveny přesné hodnoty prahu sluchu, což je nevýhodou tohoto audiometrického vyšetření. Cílem této bakalářské práce bylo podrobně popsat princip, postup vyšetření a přístroje využívané při konvenční tónové audiometrii a vylíčit základy audiometrie vysokofrekvenční. Dále pak srovnat sluchový práh u vybraných respondentů v závislosti na věku. V teoretické části je stručně popsaná anatomie a fyziologie sluchového analyzátoru a základy fyziologické akustiky. V dalších kapitolách jsou vyobrazeny sluchové vady a vyšetřovací metody se zaměřením na konvenční tónovou audiometrii a audiometrii vysokofrekvenční. V praktické části jsou zpracovaná data získána audiometrickým vyšetřením prahu sluchu vybraných respondentů v intervalů frekvencí od 125 do 16 000 Hz. Údaje z audiogramu byly zpracovány v programu Microsoft Office Excel a vyhodnoceny prostřednictvím popisné statistiky. Zpracováním získaných údajů bylo zjištěno, že práh sluchu je přímo závislý na věku. S přibývajícím věkem dochází ke zvýšení sluchového prahu. Hodnota ztráty sluchu se také odvíjí od vyšetřované frekvence. S vyšším věkem je evidován zvýšený práh sluchu už u nižších frekvencí.

Abstract:

High-frequency audiometry is used to test the hearing threshold in the frequency range from 8 000 to 20,000 Hz. In common practice, this subjective examination method is not used to determine sound defects such as common tonal audiometry, but is mainly used in cases where early hearing defects detection is required. For the frequency range of 8 000 - 20 000 Hz, the exact hearing threshold values are not established yet, which is a disadvantage of this audiometric examination. The aim of this bachelor thesis was to describe in detail the principle, procedure of examination and devices used in conventional tone audiometry and to define the basics of high-frequency audiometry. Then compare the hearing threshold for selected respondents by age. In the theoretical part is briefly described anatomy and physiology of auditory analyzer and basics of physiological acoustics. In the following chapters, sound defects and examination methods are presented, focusing on conventional tone audiometry and high-frequency audiometry. In the practical part the processed data are obtained by audiometric examination of the hearing treshold of selected respondents at intervals from 125 to 16 000 Hz. Audiogram data was processed in Microsoft Office Excel and evaluated using descriptive statistics. By processing obtained data, the hearing threshold was determined to be age-dependent. With increasing age, the hearing threshold is increased. The value of hearing loss also depends on the investigated frequency. With higher age, an increased hearing threshold is noticed already at lower frequencies.
