Evaluation of a noncapital project financed by the ESF

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá hodnocením neinvestičního projektu financovaného z Evropského sociálního fondu. V úvodu práce je přiblížena tématika strukturálních fondů Evropské unie a možností čerpání finanční podpory z operačních programů těchto fondů. V práci je analyzován konkrétní projekt s názvem ?Čtyři kroky blíže k udržitelnému rozvoji?, jehož financování je plánováno z prostředků Evropského sociálního fondu, Operačního programu vzdělávání pro konkurenceschopnost. Po stránce finanční jsou zkoumány a analyzovány jednotlivé kapitoly rozpočtu projektu. Jsou porovnávány jeho přínosy a možná rizika z hlediska klíčových aktivit a celkové potřebnosti a udržitelnosti. V závěru práce jsou navržena možná řešení nedostatků a slabých míst projektu.

Abstract:

This thesis is concerned with the evaluation of a non-investment-project, that is financed by the European Social Fund. In the introduction is described the topic of the structural funds of the EU. My thesis contains the analysis of one specific project, called "Four steps to sustainable development", whose financing is planned to come from the resources of the European Social Fund, the Education for Competitiveness Operational Programme. From the perspective of finances are researched and analyzed the separate parts of the project budget. His benefits and potential risks are compared from the perspective of the key activities and the general usefulness and sustainability. At the end of the thesis are suggested possible solutions of flaws and weak points of the project.
