Traditional Folk Culture of Bohemian Horacko in Museums: Agriculture and Crafts

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá zejména tématem tradičního zemědělství a řemesel v muzeích na území zvaném české Horácko. Pomocí sbírkových předmětů, pracovního nářadí a náčiní uložených v místních muzeích, představuje pracovní postupy polního hospodářství a zdokumentovaných odvětví rukodělné výroby. Zároveň analyzuje sbírkotvornou činnost muzeí v oblasti zemědělství a řemesel, tedy akviziční činnost, systematizaci a evidenci sbírek, uložení a ochranu sbírkových předmětů a prezentační a publikační činnost muzeí.

Abstract:

This thesis deals mainly with the theme of traditional agriculture and crafts in museums in the territory called Bohemian Horácko. With the help of collection objects, work tools and equipment deposited in local museums, the working methods of the arable farming and the documented sectors of handmade production are presented. It also analyses the collection works of museums in the field of agriculture and crafts, namely acquisitions, register of collections, deposition and preservation of collection objects and presentation and publication activities of museums.
