The Importance and Role of the Police in Czech Security System

Abstract:

ABSTRAKT VÁVRA, J. Význam a úloha policie v bezpečnostním systému ČR. Karlovy Vary: Vysoká škola finančně správní, o. p. s., 2018. 61 s. Vedoucí bakalářské práce: doc. JUDr. Pavel Mates CSc. Bakalářská práce se zabývá činností a problematikou policejního sboru, který tvoří jednotlivé složky působícív České republice. Práce analyzuje odbornou policejní činnost s dalšími subjekty působící na našem území, ale také i v zahraničí. V tomto ohledu autor v práci upozorňuje na spolupráci s dalšími ozbrojenými i neozbrojenými složkami, které se společně podílejí na bezpečnosti občanů v naší republice. Autor se touto prací snaží přiblížit fungování těchto ozbrojených složek, bez kterých se naše společnost v nynější době neobejde a byla občany vnímána, jako nedílná součást života a dostala se do podvědomí české veřejnostijako složka, na kterou se mohou s důvěrou obrátit v situacích, kdy se cítí ohroženi, ale i při běžných situacích, které znepříjemňují každodenní starosti v životě.

ABSTRACT Keywords: Police of the Czech Republic, proximate intervention, police action, armed forces This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of the police forces represented by individual branches acting in the Czech Republic. This thesis analyses specialised police activities towards other subjects acting both in our territory and abroad. In this regard the author highlights cooperation with other law enforcement branches – both armed and unarmed forces – that participate in security of the citizens in our republic. The author tries to zoom in functioning of these armed forces, without which our society cannot get along on the present, which was perceived by the citizens as an integrate part of their lives, and which seeped into the Czech public consciousness as the body to which they can address with trust in situations when they feel endangered, or in current situations bothered by everyday life troubles.
