Innovative Forms of Education for Mastering Communication Skills in a Financial Institution

Abstract:

Mastering communication skills for employees of financial institutions is becoming an important factor for the success of communication with clients. Implementation of innovative forms of education, such as experiential learning, etc. the employee becomes proficient and professional effectiveness is reflected in communication skills. The goal of this study was to compare and evaluate teaching methods aimed at improving the communication skills used in three banks established in Slovakia. All selected institutions continuously and cyclically, on a regular basis educate their employees. They used wide range of educational methods, either through hired professional trainers or using its own resources. Selected financial institutions understand the investment in the education of their employees as an investment in the future to increase the company's value and thereby increase the competitiveness of financial institutions.

Abstract:

Zvládnutie komunikačných zručnosti u zamestnancov finančných inštitúcií sa stáva dôležitým faktorom úspešnosti komunikácie s klientom. Realizáciou inovatívnych foriem vzdelávania ako je napr. zážitkové vzdelávanie, atď. sa zamestnanec stáva profesionálne zdatný a jeho efektivita sa prejavuje v komunikačných zručnostiach. Cieľom bakalárskej práce bolo zistiť, porovnať a zhodnotiť metódy vzdelávania zamerané na zvýšenie komunikačných zručností používaných v troch bankách etablovaných na Slovensku. Všetky vybrané inštitúcie permanentne a cyklicky, na pravidelnej báze vzdelávajú svojich zamestnancov. Využívajú pri tom širokú škálu metód vzdelávania, či už prostredníctvom najatých odborných lektorov alebo použitím vlastných prostriedkov. Vybrané finančné inštitúcie chápu investície do vzdelávania svojich zamestnancov ako investície do budúcnosti pre zvýšenie hodnoty podniku a tým zvýšenie konkurencieschopnosti finančnej inštitúcie.
