Abstract:

Tématem mé diplomové práce je Charakteristika některých specifik průběhu vysokoškolského studia těžce zrakově postižených studentů na vybraných vysokých školách v ČR se zaměřením na moravské univerzity. Teoretická část této práce pojednává o klasifikaci zrakového postižení, o nevidomosti jakožto jeho nejtěžší formě, o socializaci a integraci jedince se zrakovým postižením a o psychologickém pohledu na jeho osobnost. Stěžejní kapitola tohoto oddílu je věnována formálnímu vzdělávacímu systému zrakově postižených se zaměřením na charakteristiku speciálního i běžného základního a středního školství, jakož i na popis průběhu a náležitostí studia osob se zrakovým handicapem na univerzitě. Stranou nezůstává ani zmínka o zvláštnostech začleňování těžce zrakově postižených do pracovního procesu. Závěrečnou kapitolu z teorie tvoří přehled organizací zabývajících se pomocí studujícím i dospělým zrakově postiženým. Jmenovitě jde o instituce jako SONS, Tyfloservis a TyfloCentrum, podpůrná univerzitní centra, rekvalifikační střediska určená výhradně zrakově postiženým osobám a agentury podporovaného zaměstnání. Jádrem praktické části diplomové práce je smíšený výzkum s kvalitativními prvky. Klade si za cíl vystižení specifik studia účelově vybraných těžce zrakově postižených studentů na pěti záměrně zvolených moravských univerzitách v návaznosti na možnosti následného pracovního uplatnění. Na problematiku je nazíráno ze čtyř úhlů pohledu: zajímá mě stanovisko samotných těžce zrakově postižených studentů, pracovníků podpůrných univerzitních center, TyfloCenter a agentur podporovaného zaměstnání. Vyhodnocení dat získaných na základě výpovědí čtyř zmiňovaných subjektů je obsahem deváté kapitoly. Poslední kapitola je pak věnována reflexi výzkumného projektu. Závěr přináší komplexní obraz o výsledných informacích, jež z výzkumu vyplynuly.

Abstract:

The topic of this thesis are problematic and specific issues of blind and visually impaired students during their studies at universities in the Czech Republic and their integration to the working process in comparaison to their abilities and possibilities. Theoretical part contains general knowledge about eye function and structure, about sight defects and visual impairmentsits from which the blindness is the most complex type of disability. Another essential issue concentrates on the processes of socialisation and integration. The most comprehensive thematic unit of this part includes the description of the formal educational system of visually impaired pupils or students with emphases on the characteristics of main primary and secondary school educational current.Integrational specifics of visually disabled people into the working process were not left asside our interrest as well. Final chapter of the theoretical part is dedicated to the role of non-profit-making organisations and university centres providing the study support for blind and partially sighted people not only at university. We can mention for example Blind United, Tyfloservis, TyfloCentrum, supportive university centers, requalificational centers established primarily for sightless people and supported employment agencies. Praktical part is specialized on the description and realisation of the mixed research with superiority of the qualitative elements. It aims to do justice to specific studying process of purposefully chosen visually handicapped students at five intensionally sellected moravian universities in relation to the possibilities of consequent claiming their rights in the world of work. In comparaison with students` opinions we can also witness the point of view which is basis of meaning, sentiments and believes that certain supportive university centers, TyfloCenters and some non-profit-making organisations (especially supported employment agencies) experience. Gist of the nineth chapter of the thesis is the analysis and the interpretation of answers which those four mentioned subjects taking part in the recherche provided. Conclusive chapter of this essay offers us the look back at the key data gained in submitted survey and complete summary of the issue.
