Influence of Raabization on Contemporary Landscape

Abstract:

Raabizace byla specifickým a významným zásahem do mnoha oblastí života ve druhé polovině 18. století, včetně změn v krajině. Vzhledem k malému množství literatury zabývající se právě změnami v krajině v tomto období je toto téma zajímavým námětem pro zpracování. Vybranou lokalitou pro diplomovou práci je katastrální území obce Grymov. Tato diplomová práce se zabývá rešerší existující literatury především o krajině 18.století, všeobecných změnách v krajině, popisu vybraného území, možnostmi ve výzkumu historické krajiny a návrhem a aplikací metodiky pro zjišťování změn v krajině. Území bylo zvoleno na základě jeho vhodnosti pro danou práci, tedy pro to, že se jedná o raabizační obec. V jejím katastru byly pomocí historickým map, archivních i současných leteckých měřických snímků a terénního průzkumu porovnány vybrané raabizační prvky. Zvolená metodika se ukázala jako vhodná pro daný druh práce. Na základě analýzy bylo zjištěno, že se velká část z původních prvků, především původní centrum obce se zahradami i hlavní cesta vedoucí Grymovem zachovala.

Abstract:

Raabization was a specific intervention in many areas of life in the second half of the 18th century, including changes in the landscape. Due to the small amount of literature dealing with changes in the landscape in this period, this topic is an interesting topic for processing. The selected locality for the thesis is the cadastral territory of the village Grymov. This thesis deals with a search of existing literature, especially about the landscape of the 18th century, general changes in the landscape, description of the selected area, possibilities in the historical landscape research and design and application of methodology to ensure changes in the landscape. The territory was chosen on the basis of its suitability for the given thesis, because it is a raabization municipality. In its cadastre, selected raabization elements were compared using a historical map, archival and current aerial survey images and field research. The chosen methodology proved to be suitable for the given type of work. Based on the analysis, it was found that a large part of the original elements, especially the original center of the village with gardens and the main road leading through Grymov has been preserved.
