Tato diplomová práce je zaměřená na odstrašující monstra a démony, kteří existovali ve starověkém Řecku. Obsahuje přehled čtyř bytostí, kterých se obávali jak děti, tak dospělí. Náplní práce je důkladná charakteristika těchto stvoření, která poskytuje informace o jejich původu, vzhledu a chování. Tato charakteristika vznikla na základě analýzy děl antických autorů. Abstract:
This master thesis focuses on the deterring monsters and demons that existed in ancient Greece. It contains an overview of four creatures that were feared by both children and adults. The core of the thesis contains a thorough characterization of these creatures and provides information about their origins, appearance, and behavior.
