Comparison of results for district round of competition : badge of versatility of olympic winners in Prague 5 between years 2018-2022

Abstract:

Cílem práce je ověřit, zda výsledky dosažené v okresním kole soutěže OVOV pro Prahu 5 v roce 2018 byly výrazně lepší než výsledky z roku 2022. Jelikož se mezi těmito lety nemohly konat ročníky soutěže z důvodu pandemie Covid-19 a děti měly v této době méně prostoru pro pohybové aktivity, předpokládáme, že výsledky dosažené v okresním kole z roku 2022 budou horší než ty z roku 2018. Výzkumným vzorkem jsou žáci 2. stupně ZŠ, kteří se kvalifikovali do okresního kola soutěže v roce 2018 a 2022. Tito žáci soutěžili v 5 disciplínách zařazených do postupové části soutěže. Disciplíny krom jiného sledují parametry, jimiž lze hodnotit tělesnou zdatnost. Výsledky v těchto soutěžích byly shromážděny, porovnány a vyhodnoceny danými statistickými metodami. Z výsledků práce je zřejmé, že ke statisticky významnému rozdílu mezi zkoumanými soubory došlo pouze v jedné z disciplín, jež sleduje aerobní zdatnost žáků.

Abstract:

The aim of the thesis is to verify whether the results achieved in the district round of the OVOV competition for Prague 5 in 2018 were significantly better than the results from 2022. Since the competition could not be held between these years due to the Covid-19 pandemic and children had less space for physical activities, we assume that the results achieved in the district round of 2022 will be worse than those of 2018. The research sample is 2nd grade elementary school students who qualified for the district round of the competition in 2018 and 2022. These students competed in 5 disciplines included in the advanced part of the competition. Disciplines, among other things, monitor parameters that can be used to evaluate physical fitness. The results in these competitions were collected, compared and evaluated by given statistical methods. It is clear from the results of the work that a statistically significant difference between the examined groups occurred only in one of the disciplines, which monitors the aerobic fitness of pupils.
