Tato práce srovnává české a Americké jazzové prostředí, a to především z hlediska jazzové teorie a jejího pojmového aparátu. Součástí výzkumu je anglicko-český glosář jazzových termínů. Jedná se především o termíny technické, jejichž konceptuální uchopení je pro studenty jazzové teorie podstatné.
