Abstract:

Diplomová práce je rozdělena na dvě kapitoly. První se věnuje detektivnímu žánru z hlediska jeho funkcí, vymezuje jeho místo v literatuře a obhajuje jeho estetickou i uměleckou hodnotu. Obsahuje i kapitolu věnovanou kompozičním postupům a typickým prvkům, které tento žánr doprovází. Součástí teoretické části je také stručná apologie žánru. Druhá část práce se plně orientuje na osobnost Vlastimila Vondrušky a jeho tvorbu se zaměřením na edici Hříšní lidé Království českého. Věnuje se ústředním postavám jeho detektivek a práci s dobovými prameny.

Abstract:

This thesis is divided into two chapters a fractional sub-chapters. The first chapters deals with the detective literary genre in terms of features and defines its place in literature and defend its aesthetic and art value. Futhermore, the text contains a chapter about compositional process and typical elements of detective story. The brief apologia of genre is also part of this thesis. The second part is focused on Vlastimil Vondruška personality and his work specially on the edition The Sinful People of Czech Kingdom. It focuses primarily on analysis of internal subjects, where a special attention is devoted to the typology of characters and work with the historical sources.
