The presented diploma thesis deals with the subjekt: phonetics and its role at German education. I deal with the findings based on my research in seven chapters. Předložená diplomová práce se zabývá tématem: Fonetika a její role ve výuce německého jazyka. Vlastní práce je rozdělena do sedmi kapitol, přičemž prvních šest kapitol tvoří teoretickou část a poslední kapitola praktickou část diplomové práce.
