Migration to the countries of the Visegrad group-forecast

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá migrací, která za současného stavu představuje pro Evropskou unii a její členské státy problém politický, bezpečnostní a celospolečenský. Stává se proto fenoménem zásadně ovlivňujícím veřejně-politický prostor států Evropské unie celkově a seskupení zemí Visegrádské skupiny zvlášť. Teoretická část práce se na základě studia zdrojů věnuje definici migrace a jejích příčin, analýze jevů s migrací souvisejících, jež jsou pro řešení jejího problému zásadní. Součástí teoretické práce je i krátký exkurz do historie migrace, její právní úprava v právu Evropské unie a národním právu zemí Visegrádské skupiny. Navazující část práce se věnuje analýze migrace do zemí Visegrádské skupiny a Evropské unie. Jsou definována specifika, která vytvářejí rozdíly v postojích zemí Visegrádské skupiny a Evropské unie jako celku. Klíčovou část zde tvoří prognóza dalšího vývoje migrace do zemí Visegrádské skupiny a SWOT analýza jejích rizik. Závěrečná část práce se věnuje zhodnocení dosažení stanovených cílů, dále formulování závěrů a návrhů na řešení problémů, které s migrací do zemí Visegrádské skupiny souvisí.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with migration which represents a contemporary political, security and social problems for the European Union. Therefore it is becoming a phenomenon that fundamentally influences a public and political areas of the European Union countries as a whole and of the Visegrád Group countries in particular. The theoretical part of the thesis is based on studies of resources and it is focused on defining migration and its reasons, and an analysis of issues related to migration, which are fundamental for resolving its problem. The theoretical part also comprises a short digression into migration history, its legalisation within the European Union jurisdiction as well as national jurisdiction of the Visegrád Group members. The following part of the thesis deals with an analysis of migration to countries of both the Visegrád Group and the European Union. Specific features that create the differences between the attitudes of the Visegrád Group members and the European Union as a whole are defined. The key part provides a prognosis of further development of migration to the Visegrád Group countries and a SWOT analysis of its risks. The conclusion of the thesis deals with an assessment of the set out aims, furthermore with conclusions and proposals for solving the problems related to migration to the Visegrád Group countries.
