The specifics of families with children with behavioural disorders.

Anotace:

Cílem diplomové práce bylo zjistit, zda se rodinné vztahy dětí s poruchami chování liší od rodinných vztahů dětí bez poruch chování a vymezit specifické rysy citových vazeb v rodinách dětí s poruchami chování. Výzkumný soubor tvoří 80 dětí ve věku 8–14 let, z toho 40 dětí s poruchami chování a 40 bez poruch chování. V souboru je celkem 54 chlapců a 26 dívek. K jejich získání jsme spolupracovali s diagnostickými ústavy pro děti, se střediskem výchovné péče a se základní a střední školou. Ke sběru dat jsme použili Test rodinných vztahů zachycující citové vazby dítěte (Antony-Bene), v české úpravě Mádrové (1992). Ke statistické analýze dat jsme využili metody popisné statistiky, t-test pro nezávislé výběry, Mann-Whitney U test pro nezávislé výběry a faktoriální analýzu rozptylů. Výsledky studie zahrnují následující zjištění. Děti s poruchami chování prožívají ve svých rodinách více záporných citových vazeb, z čehož pociťují především záporné city přicházející od členů rodiny k sobě. Chlapci přisuzují více vycházejících kladných citů členům rodiny než dívky. U dětí s poruchami chování se objevuje také celkový pokles kladných citových vazeb a nárůst záporných citů ve vztahu s matkou. Preference matkou je u dětí s poruchami chování nižší, je ovlivněna věkem. Ve vztahu k otci se děti s poruchami a bez poruch chování neliší. Nacházíme zde však citelný nárůst vycházejících kladných citů k otci v závislosti na věku. K sourozencům děti s poruchami chování vykazují méně záporných citů. Uvádějí také více preferencí poskytovaných dítěti sourozenci, zejména sestrami. Dále udávají častěji výrazně záporné vztahy s nevlastním otcem. Věk a pohlaví společně hrají důležitou roli v percepci členů širší rodiny jako zdroje konfliktů. Za zdroj konfliktů děti s poruchami chování nejčastěji považují nevlastního otce a sebe. Obranné mechanismy se uplatňují zejména ve vyjadřování citů kladných přicházejících a záporných přicházejících. Závěry studie tedy potvrzují rozdíly v rodinných vztazích dětí s poruchami chování a bez poruch chování, zejména v míře citů záporných v rodině.

Abstract:

The aim of the thesis was to find out if the family relationships of children with behavioral disorder differ from children without behavioral disorders and to define the specific features of emotional ties in families of children with behavioral disorders. The research group consists of 80 children aged 8 to 14 years, including 40 children with behavioral disorders and 40 without behavioral disorders. The aggregate consists of 54 boys and 26 girls. To obtain the aggregate, we cooperated with the young offender institution, educational care center, elementary and secondary school. To gather data, we used the Antony-Bene family relationships test, the czech modification Mádrová (1992). For statistical analysis of data, we used methods of descriptive statistics, t-test for independent samples, Mann-Whitney U test for independent samples and the factorial analysis of variance. Results of the study include the following findings. Children with behavioral disorders live with their families more negative emotional ties, which feel especially negative emotions coming from family members together. Boys predominate over girls on positive emotional ties to family members. Children with behavioral problems also generally decline in positive emotional ties and increase negative feelings in a relationship with their mothers. Mother preference of children with behavioral disorders is lower, it is affected by age. In relationship to father, children with behavioral disorders don´t differ from children without behavioral disorders. Here we find a noticeable increase of positive emotions of the father, depending on age. Children with behavioral disorders showed less negative emotions to their siblings. Their siblings (especially sisters) also prefer children with behavioral disorders. Children with behavioral disorders significantly indicate much more negative relationship with their stepfather. Age and sex together play an important role in the perception of relatives as a source of conflict. Children with behavioral disorders considered stepfather and themselves as the most often a source of conflict. Defense mechanisms are mainly used in expressing emotions. The study's conclusions confirm differences between with and without children behavioral disorders family relationships, especially the rate of negative emotions in the family.
