Abstract:
Městečko Twin Peaks je seriál americké televize ABC, který byl poprvé vysílán v letech 1990 a 1991. Je spojován především se jménem kultovního režiséra Davida Lynche (Sloní muž, Modrý samet, Lost Highway) a je obecně pokládán za seriál, jenž změnil televizi. Práce se snaží rozebrat, proč a v kterých ohledech je tento seriál považován za převratný.
Abstract:
Twin Peaks is an ABC television series first aired in 1990 and 1991. It is associated, above all, with the cult filmmaker David Lynch (The Elephant Man, Blue Velvet, Lost Highway), and it is generally regarded as a series that changed TV. The thesis seeks to analyze why and in what respects Twin Peaks is considered a groundbreaking television show.
