Corporate network and data center security design and implementation

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá řešením zabezpečení konkrétní firemní sítě a datového centra. Cílem je vytvořit prostředí, které bude v předmigrační fázi před nasazením do reálného provozu a bude splňovat kritéria požadavků ze zadání. V samotném úvodu se obecně zabývá problematikou dnešních útoků na korporátní sítě, hlavně z prostředí internetu. Poté popisuje a analyzuje stav konkrétní společnosti před změnou, na základě analýz pak navrhuje koncept obrany proti útokům. Tento koncept je pak převeden do reálného řešení, které projde otestováním funkčnosti.

Abstract:

This study deals with the security issues of a specific company data centre and network. The objective is to create a pre-migration phase environment, prepared for live operation, compliant with the stated requirements. The Introduction deals with the generalities of threats to contemporary corporate networks, specifically pertaining to the internet. We then discuss the specific company's situation before the changes, undertake an analysis and propose a resilient solution design. The resultant architecture is then implemented and subjected to functional tests.
