Spatial aspects of photography

Abstract:

Since its formation, photography has focused on capturing and freezing the time and space. Diploma thesis: The spatial aspects of the photography deals with the understanding of space and spatial consciousness, several main techniques of stereoscopic imaging and the possibilities of photography to capture spatial images in various forms. At the beginning of the work are defined basic terms related to the processed topic. Later on, in this work, the most common techniques of capturing space in the photography from history to the present, such as stereoscopy, stereophotography, or anaglyph, and other techniques that capture the third dimension - the depth of the image or its spatiality, which we present in various ways. We will gradually introduce these main methods, we will try to describe the different methods of creating similar photographs, the possibilities of their presentation and where they are used in practice.

Abstract:

Fotografia sa od svojho vzniku zameriavala najmä na zachytenie a zamrazenie plynúceho času a priestoru. Diplomová práca: Priestorové aspekty fotografie sa zaoberá pochopením priestorovosti a priestorového vnemu, niekoľkými hlavnými technikami stereoskopického zobrazovania a možnosťami fotografie zachytávať priestorové snímky v rôznych formách. V úvode práce sú vymedzené základné pojmy, týkajúce sa spracovanej témy. Ďalej sú v práci postupne zhrnuté tie najbežnejšie techniky zachytávania priestoru na fotografii od histórie až po súčasnosť, napríklad stereoskopia, stereofotografia, či anaglyf a iné techniky, ktoré umožňujú zachytiť tretí rozmer - hĺbku obrazu alebo jeho priestorovosť, ktorú nám následne rôznymi spôsobmi prezentujú. Tieto hlavné metódy si postupne predstavíme, pokúsime sa popísať rôzne metódy, akými sa takéto fotografie vytvárajú, možnosti ich prezentácie a kde sa v praxi využívajú.
