This thesis deals with how pupils can acquire foreign language vocabulary using different learning strategies. Attention is primary paid to concrete strategies, which are demonstrated on examples in textbook for primary schools, where pupils study German as the second foreign language. Tato diplomová práce se zabývá tím, jak si mohou žáci osvojit slovní zásobu cizího jazyka pomocí různých učebních strategií. Pozornost je věnovaná především konkrétním strategiím, které jsou demonstrovány na příkladech v učebnici pro základní školy, kde mají žáci němčinu jako druhý cizí jazyk.
