Tato bakalářská práce sleduje rozmach hnutí nativismu ve Spojených Státech především v období od 80. let 19. století do 20. let 20. století, a to, jakými způsoby tyto hnutí ovlivňovaly nejen veřejné mínění o imigrantech, ale také přijetí nových zákonů, které vedly ke stálé přísnější restrikci imigrace. This thesis follows the rise of nativist movement in the United States especially in the period starting in the 1890s and ending in the 1920s, and the way this movement changed the public perception of immigrants.
