Abstract:

Předložená bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou referenčních intervalů prostatického specifického antigenu u mužů v závislosti na věku. Tato práce je zaměřena na stručnou historii PSA, jeho syntézu, strukturu, vlastnosti a využití PSA v diagnostice a léčbě onemocnění prostaty, také je popsána metodika stanovení hladin PSA a free PSA v séru přístrojem Atellica? IM analyzer, na závěr jsou hodnoceny výsledky hladin PSA a fPSA 18040 pacientů v závislosti na věku. CÍL PRÁCE - Vypracování literární rešerše týkající se prostatického specifického antigenu (PSA) - Popis struktury a vlastností PSA - Hodnocení využití PSA v diagnostice a léčbě různých onemocnění - Stručný popis metodiky využité k získání hladin PSA pacientů - Hodnocení hladin tohoto markeru v závislosti na věku za použití vzorků pacientů

Abstract:

The present bachelor thesis deals with the issue of reference intervals of prostate specific antigen in men depending on age. This thesis focuses on the brief history of PSA, its synthesis, structure, properties and use of PSA in the diagnosis and treatment of prostate diseases, also the methodology of determination of PSA and free PSA levels in serum by Atellica? IM analyzer is described, finally the results of PSA and fPSA levels of 18040 patients depending on age are evaluated. OBJECTIVE OF THE THESIS - To conduct a literature search on prostate specific antigen (PSA) - To describe the structure and properties of PSA - To evaluate the use of PSA in the diagnosis and treatment of various diseases - Brief description of the methodology used to obtain PSA levels of patients - Evaluation of the levels of this marker as a function of age using patient samples
