Abstract:

This thesis aims to create a prototype of a Digital Library for the Faculty of Law of Masaryk University, in the Islandora system. The theoretical part of the thesis contains the reasons why it is necessary to replace the current version of the Digital library and a description of the Islandora system and its components. A new digital library configuration was created in the practical part, and data migration was performed. The Islandora system proved to be a suitable solution for the Digital Library of the Faculty of Law.

Abstract:

Cieľom tejto práce je implementovať prototyp Digitálnej knižnice pre Právnickú fakultu Masarykovej Univerzity v systéme Islandora. Teoretická časť práce obsahuje dôvody, prečo je potrebné nahradiť súčasnú verziu knižnice a popis systému Islandora a jeho komponent. V praktickej časti bola vytvorená konfigurácia novej digitálnej knižnice a prevedená migrácia dát. Systém Islandora sa ukázal ako vhodné riešenie pre novú digitálnu knižnicu.
