The diploma thesis deals with a regional personality - a musician, conductor, bandleader, composer and teacher Frantisek Uhlir (*1920, Usti nad Orlici). I have carefully collected the authentic data from his life and prepared Uhlir´s biography in which I publish substantial facts about his active musical life.
