Abstract:

Ve své práci bych chtěla nastínit první experimenty s rozhlasovým vysíláním. Soustředila jsem se na úlohu, kterou sehrál rozhlas za obou světových válek a za komunistického režimu. Řada autorů se zabývá samotnou historií rozhlasu, ale věnují se pouze určitým časovým úsekům, který rozhlas poznamenaly či mu přispěly k rozkvětu. Jako první byly vybrány roky 1942 a 1948, kdy byl rozhlas pod nadvládou nacistů a komunistů, kteří si moc dobře uvědomovali, v čem je jeho síla, a proto se snažili do všech vyšších funkcí dosadit svoje lidi. Dále rok 1968, ve kterém se stal rozhlas pouze nástrojem politické moci. Některé pořady byly zakázány, jiné upraveny. Tato situace se obrátila v roce 1989, kdy se rozhlas vymanil z cenzury. Došlo k návratu zakázaných autorů do vysílání a do rozhlasu se vrátila svoboda projevu. Historii rozhlasu používám jako materiál, který bude sociologicky interpretován. Rámec mojí práce bude spočívat na funkcionalistické teorii médií, s tím, že pro jednotlivé časové období budou využity další sociologické teorie. Průběžně představím historii rozhlasu a sociologické teorie, kterými je vhodné tato historická fakta interpretovat.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis describes the connection of the radio with society from the early 20th century to the year 1992. The beginning of the thesis deals with the separate description of the radio as media. Another part comments the events which have a share in the flourishing of the radio or its fall. The radio was founded in the 20th century when this media affected millions of people. Since the beginning people did not know how to accept this medium. The radio had the function of a means of entertainment and education in its beginnings. The radio spread the information about what had happened in the society. There were many changes in staff and programme. The radio could only broadcast what was accepted by the society. The bachelor thesis describes the situation after the Velvet Revolution when the radio had to face the new possibilities of broadcasting. The banned writers came back and the radio became much more free after the revolution. The bachelor thesis is based on functionalist approach which is filled by others sociology theories in each parts.
