Práce se zabývá tématem dospívání a jeho vyobrazení v pohádkách a mýtech. První část zkoumá definici a vývoj pohádek v rámci dětské literatury a roli, kterou pohádky pro své čtenáře plní. Druhá část pojednává o vývoji mýtů, jejich rozvoji a vlivem, který má na své čtenáře. The thesis analyses coming of age through myths and fairy tales. The first part looks at the definition and development of fairy tales in scope of children's literature and explores the role fairy tales fulfil for its readers.
