A Project of Extension of Services in the Selected Hotel

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na tvorbu nového produktu pro rodiny s dětmi ve vybraném resortu. Teoretická část práce vymezila pojmy týkající se rodinného cestovního ruchu, sportovního cestovního ruchu, hotelnictví, řízení a organizování v hotelu a analytických metod použitých v práci. Zvolená problematika byla řešena pomocí geografické analýzy, analýzy současného stavu resortu, marketingového mixu, analýzy konkurence, analýzy poptávky a SWOT analýzy. Díky těmto analýzám byla sesbírána a zhodnocena potřebná data, která byla podkladem pro tvorbu nového produktu. Výzkum prokázal, že má resort potenciál pro zavedení nového produktu, kterým zaujme rodiny s malými dětmi. Zároveň tímto projektem také podpoří obsazenost ve slabších dnech v resortu. Výsledkem této práce je sportovní balíček pro děti ve věku 7-12 let, který podpoří sportovní chování a zdravý životní styl dětí ve Vsetíně a okolí. Projekt je podroben časové, nákladové a rizikové analýze.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis focuses on creating a new product for families with children in a selected resort. The theoretical part of the thesis defined terms related to family tourism, sports tourism, hotel management, hotel operation and analytical methods used in the thesis. The chosen issue was solved by geographic analysis, analysis of the current state of the resort, marketing mix, competition analysis, demand analysis, and SWOT analysis. Thanks to these analyses, necessary data were collected and evaluated, serving as the basis for creating the new product. The research demonstrated that the resort has the potential to introduce a new product that will appeal to families with young children and will also boost occupancy during off-peak periods. The result of this thesis is a sports package for children, promoting sports activities and a healthy lifestyle for children in Vsetín. The project was subjected to time, cost and risk analysis.
