Tourist and recreational activities in the industrial region

Abstract:

Cílem této bakalářské práce je zanalyzovat turistické a rekreační možnosti v turisticky ne příliš atraktivně známé oblasti severních Čech. Téma je specifikováno na okres Chomutov – region, kterému zůstává i přes veškerou snahu status „měsíční krajiny“. Tento obraz je hluboce zakořeněn především ve starší generaci. Region nevyvolává pocit turisticky atraktivní oblasti, naopak je vnímán jako nezajímavý cíl, který nemá co nabídnout. Bohužel většina lidí netuší, jak dlouhou trať již region prošel na cestě za lepšími podmínkami a zatraktivněním nechvalně známého oblasti. Výraznou změnou prochází oblast životního prostředí, a to zejména na místě bývalých lomů, kde probíhají rekultivace v podobě nových vodních ploch, oblastí zeleně či jiných turistických atraktivit. Je třeba potenciálním návštěvníkům a turistům regionu ukázat jeho současnou podobu se všemi atraktivitami, které nabízí, a vyvrátit v nich zažitý předsudek o neatraktivnosti regionu.

Abstract:

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyze tourism and recreational opportunities in the not too attractive tourist known areas of northern Bohemia. The theme is specified on the district Chomutov - region, which remains despite all efforts status "moonscape". This image is deeply rooted mainly in the older generation. Region does not feel attractive area, on the contrary, it is perceived as uninteresting goal that has nothing to offer. Unfortunately, most people do not know how long haul region already passed on the way for better conditions and more attractive notorious region. Is undergoing a significant change in the environment, especially in former quarries, where ongoing reclamation in the form of new water areas, green areas and other tourist attractions. It is necessary to potential visitors and tourists to the region to show its current form with all the attractions it offers, and to refute them ingrained prejudice about the unattractiveness of the region.
