Authenticating to VPN using one time passwords

Abstract:

V diplomové práci se věnuji návrhu systému jednorázových hesel zasílaných prostřednictvím SMS zpráv na mobilní telefon. Systém je nasazen jako druhý faktor autentizace pro vzdálený přístup SSL VPN společnosti Juniper. Součástí návrhu je také administrativní rozhraní pro správu uživatelů a self service portál pro zadání PINu uživatele, který slouží jako dodatečná ochrana jednorázového hesla v průběhu autentizace. Jednotlivé komponenty systému využívají poznatků z teoretické části práce.

Abstract:

In my diploma thesis I deal with design of time passwords system sent via SMS messages to a mobile phone. The system is deployed as a second factor authentication for the Juniper remote access SSL VPN. Part of the system is also an administrative interface to manage users and self service portal for users to enter a PIN, which serves as an additional protection during the one-time password authentication. Individual components of the system are using the knowledge of the theoretical part.
