Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na srovnání ekonomicko-demografikých ukazatelůsexuálních pracovnic na začátku 20. a 21. století. Cílem práce je definovat hlavnírozdíly, které na trhu s prostitucí za uplynulých 100 let vznikly. Pro lepší pochopenídané problematiky diplomová práce popisuje specifická tržní selhání, která na trhuv důsledku nedokonalé konkurence vznikají. V práci je také popsáno, jak je tvořenapoptávka a nabídka po prostitučních službách. Diplomová práce se zaměřuje i naanalýzu politických přístupů k prostituci a jejich aplikaci na území České republiky.Závěrem diplomové práce je, že se prostituční prostředí změnilo, ale motivace pro vstupna prostituční trh zůstaly beze změny.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the comparison of economic and demographic indicators of sexworkers at the beginning of the 20th and 21st centuries. The objective of this work is todefine the main differences that have arisen in the prostitution market over the past 100years. For better understanding of the topic, specific market failures caused byimperfect competition are described. Further, the thesis describes how the demand andsupply of prostitution services are created. The diploma thesis also focuses on theanalysis of political approaches to prostitution and their application in the CzechRepublic. Finally, the conclusion of the thesis is that the prostitution environment haschanged although the motivations for entering the prostitution market have remainedunchanged.
