Stylistic Text Analysis of the Column Culture in the Weekly Newspapers "Prager Zeitung" and "Die Zeit"

Abstract:

The work concerns itself with the stylistic comparison of the column " culture" two German newspapers, „Die Zeit“ and „Prager Zeitung“. Theoretical part summarises important informations about the theory of stylistick and mass media. All the theoretical information is used in the practical part. It deals with classification and analyse of newspaper texts „Die Zeit“ and „Prager Zeitung“. I observe the using of different terms and stylistics elements primary of column „culture“.

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá stylistickým srovnáním rubriky kultura dvou německých periodik, „Die Zeit“ a „Prager Zeitung“. Diplomová práce je složena ze dvou částí. Teoretická část práce shrnuje důležité poznatky týkající se teorie stylistiky a masmédií. Všechny teoretické poznatky jsou doloženy v praktické části. Ta je věnována klasifikaci a analýze textů rubriky kultura uvedených periodik. Zkoumám především použití různých termínů a stylistických prvků, které jsou pro daná periodika typická.
