Finanční gramotnost a posílení postavení žen: Jak mohou být ženy v Nizozemsku posíleny, aby se staly finančními ředitelkami svého života?

Abstract:

Současné inflační tlaky, které vedou ke snížení kupní síly, přetížené důchodové systémy a stále složitější (digitální) finanční prostředí vyžadují vyšší úroveň finanční gramotnosti, aby se zabránilo finanční nestabilitě a zvýšilo finanční zdraví. Nizozemsko však v rámci srovnání OECD vykazuje druhý nejvyšší rozdíl ve znalostech finanční gramotnosti v neprospěch žen (OECD, 2017a). Finanční negramotnost žen a existence genderové nerovnosti mohou vést k finanční křehkosti a důchodové chudobě, což ženy tlačí do ekonomické závislosti a zranitelného finančního zdraví. S cílem podpořit finanční posílení žen (FFE) tato práce kvalitativně zhodnotila potřeby žen, jakož i vícerozměrné strategie a intervence, které mohou podpořit nebo být realizovány s cílem posílit postavení žen v Nizozemsku, aby se staly finančními ředitelkami svého života, překlenuly rozdíly ve finanční gramotnosti a v konečném důsledku posílily podporu posílení postavení žen.

Abstract:

Current inflationary pressures resulting in decreased purchasing power, overburdened pension systems, and increasingly complex (digital) financial landscapes require a greater level of financial literacy to prevent financial fragility and elevate financial health. However, the Netherlands reveals the second highest financial literacy knowledge gender gap to the detriment of women in an OECD comparison (OECD, 2017a). Financial illiteracy in women and the existence of gender inequality can lead to financial fragility and retirement poverty, pushing women into economic dependency and vulnerable financial health. In order to foster female financial empowerment (FFE), this thesis qualitatively assessed females' needs as well as multidimensional strategies and interventions that can support or be implemented to empower females in the Netherlands to become the CFO of their lives, bridging the gap in financial literacy and ultimately enhancing promoting female empowerment.
