Development of wheat pathogen infection in agricultural company

Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce bylo vyhodnocení vývoje důležitých fytopatogenních hub pšenice seté (Triticum aestivum) a vlivu ekologických faktorů – počasí, teplota a srážky na výskyt těchto patogenů. Polní pozorování probíhalo ve vegetačním roce 2020/2021 na třech vybraných pozemcích zemědělských podniků Pravčická a.s. a JPJ a.s. ve Zlínském kraji, okres Kroměříž. Hodnoceny byly tři rozdílné odrůdy pšenice ozimé Epos (E kvalita), Julie (E kvalita), RGT Viriato (A kvalita). Pozornost byla věnována především vyskytujícím se patogenům Mycosphaerella graminicola (Zymoseptoria tritici), Blumeria graminis f. sp. tritici (Oidium monilioides) a Puccinia recondita f. sp. tritici. Nebyly zaznamenány větší škodlivé výskyty chorob, podíl ploch s výskytem patogenů byl nízký. Lokálně byly zaznamenány silnější výskyty Zymoseptoria tritici, které se nacházely především ve spodních patrech porostu. Původce padlí pšenice Blumeria graminis f. sp. tritici byl spatřen na konci měsíce dubna a června se slabým až středním charakterem poškození. Rozvoj patogena Puccinia recondita f. sp. tritici byl díky chladnému průběhu jara spatřen v teplejším období lokálně až na konci měsíce června bez silných výskytů. Nízké výskyty patogenů byly důsledkem vlivu počasí, které nebylo příznivé pro rozvoj patogenů, i díky vhodné a včasné fungicidní ochraně.

Abstract:

The aim of the diploma thesis was to evaluate the development of important phytopathogenic fungi of common wheat (Triticum aestivum) and the influence of ecological factors – weather, temperature and precipitation on the occurrence of these pathogens. Field observation took place in the vegetation year 2020/2021 on three selected plots of land of the agricultural enterprises Pravčická a.s. and JPJ a.s. in the Zlín Region, Kroměříž district. Three different winter wheat varieties Epos (E quality), Julie (E quality), RGT Viriato (A quality) were evaluated. Attention was paid mainly to the found pathogens Mycosphaerella graminicola (Zymoseptoria tritici), Blumeria graminis f. sp. tritici (Oidium monilioides) and Puccinia recondita f. sp. tritici. No major adverse infections were recorded, the proportion of areas with pathogens was low. Locally, stronger occurrences of Zymoseptoria tritici were recorded, which were located mainly in the lower floors of the leaves. The causative agent of wheat Blumeria graminis f. sp. tritici was noticed at the end of April and June with a mild to moderate damage. Due to the cold course of weather in spring, the development of the pathogen Puccinia recondita f. sp. tritici was seen locally in the warmer period at the end of June without strong occurrences. The low incidences of pathogens was the result of a positive weather effect and thanks to appropriate and timely fungicidal protection.
