Altar Paintings in the Former Piarist Church of St. John the Baptist in Kroměříž
Abstract:
Tato práce pojednává o barokních malbách umístěných na oltářích v kostele sv. Jana Křtitele v Kroměříži, jejichž autory jsou Michelangelo Unterberger, Josef Stern a Felix Ivo Leicher. Zvláštní pozornost je zde věnována symbolům, jejich významu a jejich vzájemným vztahům a vztahům k příslušným světcům.
Abstract:
This work describes baroque paintings placed on the altars in the church of St. John the Baptist in Kroměříž, painted by Michelangelo Unterberger, Josef Stern and Felix Ivo Leicher; with special attention for symbols, their meaning and their relations to each other and the respective saints.
