Mikrosatelity jsou tandemově se opakující repetice o délce 2-6 párů bazí DNA. Mikrosatelity byly objeveny v každém organismu, včetně netopýrů. Jsou vysoce polymorfní, a proto jsou účinnými genetickými markery, které nám dovolují zkoumat různé aspekty jejich migračního chování, párovacího chování a sociální organizace. Abstract:
Microsatellites are tandem repeats of short sequence motifs (2-6 bp) of DNA. Microsatellites have been found in every organism, including bats. They may be highly polymorphic and they are therefore useful genetic markers which allows to study some aspects of bat biology including dispersal, mating behaviour and social organisation.
