Neotectonic activity of the Hluboká Fault

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce předkládá strukturní studii hlubockého zlomu, založenou na pozorování v průzkumných rýhách. Ke studiu deformačních struktur bylo použito kompasových měření a metody anizotropie magnetické susceptibility, jejíž pomocí byla pozorována vnitřní stavba tektonických jílů a deformovaných jílových sedimentů. Vzhledem k tomu, že se křídové sedimenty klikovského souvrství nacházejí v podloží permokarbonských hornin a zlomová zóna je ukloněna převážně k JZ, lze ve studovaném segmentu zlomu předpokládat výraznou přesmykovou složku pohybu. Na základě zjištění, že magnetické lineace v tektonických jílech a makroskopické rýhování na zlomových plochách měli shodnou orientaci, lze uvažovat o použití magnetické stavby jako kinematického indikátoru.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis presents structural study of the Hluboká fault based on observations in the trenches. The study of deformation structures used field measurements and laboratory measurements of magnetic fabric of clay gouges and deformed clay-rich sediments. Since the sediments of the Cretaceous Klikov Formation are located in the footwall of the Permian- -Carboniferous rocks and the structure of the fault zone is predominantly SW-vergent, the studied fault segment can be assumed significant for a thrust slip-component. Based on the findings that the magnetic lineations in the fault gouges and the macroscopic striation of the fault surfaces have the same orientation, the magnetic structure can be considered as a kinematic indicator.
