Methodology of REST API design
Abstract:
Práce se zabývá analýzou a návrhem aplikačního rozhraní (API) architektonickým stylem REST (Representational State Transfer). V úvodu je stručně představen přenosový protokol HTTP a základní definice REST rozhraní. Dále je přistoupeno k analýze a návrhu řešení běžných situací, které se v API pravidelně objevují. Na základě těchto řešení je pak implementována základní ukázková aplikace.

This work deals with an analysis and design of application programming interface (API) within the architectural style known as REST (Representational State Transfer). Beginning of this thesis covers basic introduction of HTTP protocol and REST fundamentals, followed by analysis and solution proposals of common situations that can occur in API.
