The role of municipal authorities for a devolopment of the tourism - the case of the town Hostivice

Anotácia:

Tato práce se zabývá podporou cestovního ruchu ze strany místní samosprávy.Na případu města Hostivice jsou analyzovány a hodnoceny poznatky získané prostřednictvím strukturovaných rozhovorů s klíčovými aktéry veřejného životave městě Hostivice. Práce obsahuje i seznámení s historií, přírodním a kulturně-historickým potenciálem města. Cílem práce bylo provést analýzu potenciálu cestovního ruchu ve městě, zjistit a vymezit bariéry cestovního ruchu a dále zhodnotit, zda rozsah stávajících aktivit a úroveň podpory z pozice místní samosprávy vyhovují potřebám cestovního ruchu ve městě Hostivice. Práce obsahuje i teoretickou část, která se zabývá pojmem veřejná správa a následně úlohou veřejné správy k cestovnímu ruchu.

Abstract:

This thesis considers the support required from the municiple autorityin order to advance tourism in Hostivice. In the thesis, the requirementsare analyzed and assessed using knowledge that was acquired by conducting structured interviews with important people in the public life of the town.The thesis also acquaints with the historical, natural and cultural-historical existence and potential of the town. The goal of the thesis is to make an analysisof tourism potential in the town, identify and define barriers of tourism and appreciate if the range of existing activities and level of support on the part of the municipal authority comply with requirements of tourism in Hostivice. The thesis contains also a theoretical part which considers the concept of the public sector and the role it plays in tourism.
