Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na fungování metabolismu etanolu v organismu a vysvětluje, jakými způsoby se etanol odbourává. V další části se práce zabývá popisem poruch a genetických polymorfismů, které se vyskytují na celém světě a liší se u jednotlivých populací. Vysvětluje, jaké následky mají jednotlivé polymorfismy. Abstract:

The thesis is focused on the working of ethanol metabolism in the human body and its degradation pathways. Disorders and genetic polymorphisms, which occur in the whole world and vary in each population, are described in the next part. This part explains consequences of each polymorphism.
