Diplomová práca sa zaoberá otázkou postavenia Špeciálneho súdu v slovenskom právnom poriadku. Práca v úvode približuje predpoklady, ktoré viedli k vzniku Špeciálneho súdu na Slovensku. Následne sa zaoberá definíciou špecializovanej justície a príkladom uvádza niektoré zahraničné úpravy špeciálnych súdov.
