The Attitude of Grammar School Students to the Institution of Family and Marriage

Abstract:

Předložená diplomová práce se věnuje žákům gymnázií v období dospívání a jejich postojům k instituci rodiny a manželství. Teoretická část se věnuje charakteristice rodiny, jejímu vývoji v čase, vlastnostem rodiny, znakům rodiny a jejím trendům, také jejím funkcím a typům. Následuje charakteristika manželství, popis partnerských svazků, funkce manželství a jeho vývojové etapy, vztahy v manželství, výběr partnera a role manželů, také gender, sociální role a očekávání žen a mužů. V kapitole adolescence se kromě charakteristiky věnujeme také vývoji v adolescenci, psychickému, emocionálnímu i tělesnému vývoji, vztahům a také morálnímu a hodnotovému vývoji. Poslední kapitola je o postojích a hod-notách. V praktické části byla k realizaci výzkumu zvolena metoda kvantitativního výzkumu a k získání informací o dané problematice byl použit dotazník. Cílem výzkumu bylo zjistit, jak vnímají žáci gymnázia rodinu a manželství, jak jsou pro ně tyto hodnoty důležité, a také jak si představují svou rodinu v budoucnu nebo svůj budoucí partnerský vztah

Abstract:

Diploma thesis is dedicated to the pupils of the grammar schools in the period of adol-escence and their attitudes to the institution of marriage and family. The theoretical part is devoted to the characteristics of the family, its development in time, family traditions, funkcion and types of the family. Folowed by characteristics of the marriage, description of partners volumes, the function of marriage and its developmental stages, relationships in marriage, choice of partners and the role of the spouses, the gender, social roles and ex-pectations of women and men. The chapter of adolescence is devoted to the characteristics of development in adolescen-ce, psychological and emotional, physical development, relationships, and also moral value development. The last chapter is about the attitudes and values. The practical part is dedicated to the research. As a method was used quantitative research and as obtain information on the subject was used the questionnaire. The aim of the re-search was to find out, how the pupils of the grammar school percieve the family and marriage, how important are these values for them, and also how their family should look like.
