Tato diplomová práce se v teoretické části zabývá umíráním a péčí o umírající v minulosti, rituály okolo smrti a nynější tabuizací smrti. Dále popisuje druhy truchlení, jeho příznaky, truchlení jako proces. Práce vysvětluje důležitost správné komunikace s pozůstalými, důle-žitost prostředí a časového aspektu při předávání pozůstalosti. This disertation is in a theoretical part concerned with dying and keeping of a dying people in the past.Then there are some rituals connected with a death and a nowadays tabooed death. Below there are described the kinds of grieving, its symptoms and grieving as a pro-cess.
