Tato diplomová práce se zabývá současnou obchodní válkou mezi Spojenými státy americkými a Čínou. Zaměřuje se na cla uvalená Trumpovou administrativou během roku 2018 na zboží dovážené z Číny a pokouší se zjistit, jak tato cla ovlivnila importy zboží z Číny do USA. This thesis deals with the contemporary trade war between the United States and China. It is focused on three rounds of tariffs imposed by the Trump administration during 2018 on imports of goods from China. The thesis will attempt to ascertain how these new tariffs influenced the amount of goods imported into the United States from China.
