Analysis of communal recreation in the city of Klimkovice

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou komunální rekreace, která se zaměřuje na vytváření vhodných podmínek k trávení volného času obyvatel ve městě, a to takových, které by vedly k jejich zdravějšímu životnímu stylu a lepší kvalitě života. Cílem práce je zanalyzovat možnosti komunální rekreace ve městě Klimkovice, identifikovat preference místních občanů v této oblasti a na základě výsledků navrhnout doporučení, která by mohla vést ke zkvalitnění služeb v tomto segmentu. Teoretická část práce objasňuje jednotlivé pojmy, které úzce souvisí s tématem komunální rekreace, včetně faktorů, které mají na tuto oblast vliv. Práce se dále věnuje charakteristice města Klimkovice a je zde popsána metodika provedeného výzkumu. V praktické části je zahrnuta SWOT analýza města Klimkovice ve vztahu ke komunální rekreaci a analýza výsledků dotazníkového šetření, v níž je první část otázek je zaměřena na socioekonomický statut respondentů, další otázky jsou zaměřeny na spokojenost obyvatel se stávající nabídkou v oblasti komunální rekreace ve městě a na zjištění jejich preferencí. Analýzou dotazníkového šetření bylo zjištěno, že většina respondentů je pohybově aktivních, zajímají se však i o další možnosti, jak trávit volný čas. Dvě třetiny dotázaných vyjádřily nespokojenost s možnostmi aktivního trávení volné času ve městě, což lze chápat jako dobrou příležitost ke zkvalitňování podmínek, zázemí a služeb v této oblasti.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of municipal recreation, which focuses on creating appropriate conditions for the leisure of residents in the city, and those that would lead to a healthier lifestyle and a better quality of life. The aim of the thesis is to analyse the possibilities of municipal recreation in Klimkovice, to identify the preferences of local citizens in this area and, based on the results, to propose recommendations that could lead to the improvement of services in this segment. The theoretical part of the thesis explains the individual concepts that are closely related to the topic of municipal recreation, including the factors that affect this area. The thesis also deals with the characteristics of the town of Klimkovice and describes the methodology of the conducted research. The practical part includes a SWOT analysis of the town of Klimkovice in relation to municipal recreation and an analysis of the results of the questionnaire survey, where the first part of the questions is focused on the socio-economic status of the respondents, the other questions are focused on the satisfaction of the residents with the existing offer in the field of municipal recreation in the town and to find out their preferences. The analysis of the questionnaire survey revealed that most of the respondents are physically active, but they are also interested in other ways to spend their leisure time. Two thirds of the respondents expressed dissatisfaction with the possibilities of active leisure in the city, which can be seen as a good opportunity to improve conditions, facilities and services in this area.
