Influence of nonsens-literature in evolution of "Husa na provázku" Theatre

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na vliv nonsensové literatury na dramaturgii Divadla Husa na provázku, a to v rámci zpracování děl tří světově proslulých autorů – Lewise Carrolla, Christiana Morgensterna a Edwarda Leara. Těmito autory se nechala inspirovat režisérka Eva Tálská a v důsledku vznikla nonsensová linie, která má politický charakter. Práce se blíže zaměřuje na inscenaci Příběhy dlouhého nosu, a to především v oblasti hudební, v níž přináší nové poznatky získané přímo od skladatele hudby Miloše Štědroně; dále se soustředí na oblast literární. Tato část práce je zaměřena na progres vývoje limericků od originálů z pera Edwarda Leara přes překlad Antonína Přidala až k finální režijní podobě Evy Tálské.

Abstract:

This bachelor’s thesis highlights the influence of nonsense literature on the dramaturgy of the Theatre on the Strings using the framework of three world-famous authors: Lewis Carroll, Christian Morgenstern, and Edward Lear. Director Eva Tálská was inspired by these authors, and the result was the emergence of a nonsensical theatrical line, one which was of political character. This work describes the production of Stories of the Long Nose, especially as it pertains to the musical field, where it makes an original contribution obtained directly from music composer Miloš Štědroň. This thesis also contributes to the literary sphere, focusing on the limericks of Edward Lear and their progression from his original work to translation of Antonín Přidal to the final directorial form of Eva Tálská.
