Abstract:

Tato práce rozebírá hlavní prvky stylu režiséra Wese Andersona a analyzuje jejich implementaci ve studentském filmu Kamélie pomocí zpětné reflexe vlastní tvorby autorky. Konkrétní příklady z průběhu natáčení dokazují, že natočit film v podobném stylu, s obsáhlou výpravou a technicky komplikovanými záběry, lze i navzdory omezenému financování a skromným studentským podmínkám, a to díky hledání dostupných alternativ a experimentování. Práce demonstruje, že ambiciózní inspirační vzor může studentům filmu pomoci s rozvojem jejich vlastního unikátního stylu, jelikož je nutí k tomu, aby si dokázali poradit s tím, co mají v dané chvíli k dispozici.

Abstract:

This thesis analyses key elements of Wes Anderson's style and their implementation in the student film Kamélie by means of retrospective reflection on the author's own work. Specific examples from the course of the filming prove that making a film of a similar style, with an extensive production and technically complicated shots, is possible despite a limited budget and modest student conditions. This is achieved through the seeking of accessible alternatives and experimentation. The thesis demonstrates that an ambitious inspirational role model can help film students develop their own unique style by challenging them to make use of what is accessible to them at the time.
