Abstract:

Kulturní dědictví je nedílnou součástí budoucnosti, proto je důležité poskytovat příležitosti pro jeho další rozvoj a zachování. Cílem této diplomové práce je popsat a zhodnotit strategii zachování nizozemského náboženského dědictví proměnou jeho funkce, zejména se zaměřením na církevní budovy uzavřené z důvodu sekularizace. První část práce se věnuje klíčových pojmům souvisejícím s vybranou problematikou a popisuje historický a legislativní rámec nizozemského náboženského dědictví, proces přeměny církevní budovy a všechny účastníky ve zkoumané problematice. Druhá část představuje analýzu deseti případových studií rozdělených do různých funkcí společenského využití (jako jsou knihkupectví, hotely, kancelářské prostory, knihovny atd.).

Abstract:

Cultural heritage is an integral part of the future, therefore it is important to provide opportunities for their further development and preservation. The aim of this master's thesis is to describe, analyse and evaluate the use and repurposing of the Dutch religious cultural heritage, mainly focusing on the church buildings closed due to secularisation. The first part of the thesis introduces definitions of cultural heritage, theoretical background concerning cultural preservation in the Netherlands, the main parties and legislation, the phenomenon of secularisation and repurposing of religious buildings and the dynamics of that strategy nowadays. The second part represents an analysis of ten case studies divided into different functions of social usage (such as bookstores, hotels, office spaces, libraries, etc).
