Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá současnou literární tvorbou prozaika Jiřího Kratochvila, typického představitele české prózy postmoderního typu. V teoretické části je stručně nastíněn Kratochvilův život a podrobněji přiblížena jeho dosavadní umělecká tvorba. V následující kapitole je charakterizována próza postmoderního typu (včetně jejího postavení v kontextu české literatury), obzvláště s důrazem na zařazení Kratochvila do této linie literatury. V analytické a interpretační části jsou literárnímu rozboru a výkladu podrobeny dva jeho romány publikované od roku 2010 (Femme fatale, 2010; Bakšiš, 2018). Na základě analytické a interpretační části práce je v závěru shrnut dosavadní vývoj poetiky Kratochvila, včetně zařazení jeho literárního díla do kontextu současné české literatury.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the contemporary literary output of the prosaist Jiří Kratochvil, who has been categorized as a typical representative of czech postmodern literature. The theoretical part briefly outlines Kratochvil's life and gives a more detailed description of his entire work. The following chapter describes the characteristic features of the postmodern prose and defines its position in the context of czech literature. Great emphasis is laid on placing Kratochvil in this literary line. The analytical and interpretative part is focused on the literary analysis and the interpretation of Kratochvil's two novels which have been published since 2010 (Femme fatale, 2010; Bakšiš, 2018). On the basis of the analytical and interpretative part the development of Kratochvil's poetics is summarized in the conslusion, including the categorization of Kratochvil's literary work into the context of contemporary czech literature.
