We are living in the future of our race. Development of social documentary in the 50’s-60’s in Slovakia, focussing on position of family and youth in it.

Abstract:

Bachelor diploma thesis deals with the research of social documentaries produced in the 1950´s and 1960´s in Slovakia. It focuses on image of family and youth life in those years in documentary movies. By analysis of the documentaries it regards changes of that genre, different approches of imaging and it also involves broader social and historical context, which also affected this genre.

Abstract:

Bakalárska diplomová práca sa venuje vývoju a analýze sociálneho dokumentu v 50.-60. rokoch na Slovensku. Zameriava sa na zobrazenie rodiny, detí a mládeže v tomto období v dokumentárnom filme. Analýzou jednotlivých dokumentov sleduje zmeny v tomto žánri, rozdielne prístupy v zobrazovaní a taktiež zahŕňa do analýzy širší spoločensko-politický kontext, ktorý mal vplyv na tento žáner.
