Comparison of the level of the endurance abilities of the students of the physical education

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with comparison of the results from distance running on 1500 metres included in the talent entrance examination at the University of Ostrava and the results of the same test, conducted within practical credit in the course of athletics. This course is a mandatory part of the study in the field of physical education and sport. To describe the results of each year a basic descriptive statistics was used, to compare the results of the entrance exam and credit for the course of athletics a one selection T-test was used. These tests are the most appropriate for comparison and evaluation of the data matrix, which consisted of the individual candidate performances entering the study of the physical education and the performances of the students during their studies at the Department of Physical Education at the University of Ostrava in Ostrava.

Abstract:

Táto práca sa zaoberá porovnávaním výsledkov z dištančného behu na 1500metrov zahrnutého v talentovej prijímacej skúške na Ostravskej univerzite a výsledkov z rovnakého testu, ktorý sa uskutočňuje v rámci praktického zápočtu v predmete atletika. Tento predmet je povinnou súčasťou štúdia na obore telesná výchova a šport. Pre popis výsledkov jednotlivých rokov bola použitá základná popisná štatistika, pre porovnanie výsledkov prijímacej skúšky a zápočtu z predmetu atletika bol použitý parametrický párový T-Test. Tieto testy boli najvhodnejšie pre porovnanie a vyhodnotenie dátovej matice, ktorá pozostávala s jednotlivých výkonov uchádzačov o štúdium telesnej výchovy a tých istých, už študentov, počas štúdia na katedre telesnej výchovy Ostravskej univerzity v Ostrave.
