Surface treatment of dining tables and casting resin tables

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou povrchové úpravy jídelních stolů a stolku licími pryskyřicemi, a to především licími pryskyřicemi na bázi epoxidových pryskyřic a kvalitou této stolové plochy jako takové. Cílem bylo zkoumat problematiku spojení licích pryskyřic a masivního materiálu ve formě stolové desky a zabývat se problematikou povrchových úprav a jejich vlastnosti. Následné podrobení stolové pracovní desky jídelních stolu a stolku dokončení transparentní povrchovou úpravou při použití licích pryskyřic. Hlavním cílem této práce je sestavení pracovního postupu pro výrobu jídelních stolů a stolku, a to pomoci kombinací licích epoxidových pryskyřic a následná povrchová úprava. Dalším cílem je stanovení odolností povrchové úpravy epoxidových pryskyřic a také jejich odleskové vlastnosti a pevnost v ohybu v spojované spáře, odolnost vůči oděru atd. Pro měření jídelních stolů a stolku byly vybrány dřeviny ořech, mahagon a jasan. Vybraným typem licí pryskyřice byla epoxidová pryskyřice CHEMEX – POX Z 21.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the surface treatment of dining tables and tables with casting resins, especially casting resins based on epoxy resins and the quality of this table surface as such. The aim was to investigate the problem of bonding casting resins and solid material in the form of table tops and to deal with the problem of surface treatments and their properties. Subsequent subjection of the table top of the dinner table and the table to a transparent finish using casting resins. The main aim of this work is to create a workflow for the production of dining tables and tables, using a combination of casting epoxy resins and subsequent surface treatment. Another objective is to determine the surface finish properties of the epoxy resins as well as their glare and flexural strength in the joint, the abrasion resistance, etc. The wood, walnut, mahogany and ash wood species were selected for the measurement of the dining tables and table. The casting resin chosen was CHEMEX – POX Z 21 epoxy resin.
